Between by Kerry Schafer – Book Review Books That Hook

This was an excellent story. I was captivated to the pages till the end. Kerry Schafer knows how to captivate her readers to the story. I love how she wrote a very unique story.

This is the story of Vivian. Vivian is a great female character that was easy to relate to. Vivian didn’t believe her mother’s rants about Dreamworlds, but now that strange things start happening she is starting to remember what her mother was talking about and started to believe what her mother told her.

Vivian meets Zee and now she has to figure out the answers, but she is having a hard time figuring out the answers, especially when Zee is around.. Vivian is also trying hard to fight her feelings for Zee all the while learning about this new world she is able to see.

I give Between 5 stars and would recommend this to everyone that likes paranormal romances with a twist.

Kerry Schafer writes fantasy with its teeth sunk into reality, mystery that delves into the paranormal, and women’s fiction that embraces the dark and twisty realms of humanity. The first two books of her Between trilogy (Between and Wakeworld) were published through Ace Books/Penguin. Due to the ever-shifting landscape of publishing, the concluding book of the trilogy – The Nothing – will be coming out as an Indie book, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Kerry’s Paranormal Mystery series, Dead Before Dying, was recently acquired by Diversion Books, and rumor has it she is currently working on a Women’s Fiction project, just to keep things interesting.
