*I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.*

I was giving this book in return for an honest review. Blood Magic is book 1 in the Wing Slayer Hunters series. I really enjoyed this story. I couldn’t put it down till I got the end of the story. This is one of my favorite stories.

Blood Magic is the story of Axel and Darcy. Axel is the hot male character that you lust after, but at times want to be angry at. Darcy is the female character that you can relate to. Axel is a witch hunter that protects earth witches from rogue witch hunters and demon witches.

Axel learns that Darcy is a earth witch. Axel’s little sister gets the Death Mark and needs Darcy to remove it. He saves Darcy from rogues hunters that want her blood and makes her help his little sister.

Somewhere along the way they both fell in love with each other. If you would like to know what happens read Blood Magic by Jennifer Lyon.

I give Blood Magic 5 stars. It is the perfect mix of action, romance, and suspense. I would recommend this series to anyone that loves paranormal romances.

Jennifer Lyon, who also writes as Jennifer Apodaca, lives in Southern California where she continually plots ways to convince her husband that they should get a dog. After all, they met at the dog pound, fell in love, married and had three wonderful sons. So far, however, she has failed in her doggy endeavor. She consoles herself by pouring her passion into writing books. To date, Jen has published more than fifteen books and novellas, including a fun and sexy mystery series and a variety of contemporary romances under the name Jennifer Apodaca. As Jennifer Lyon she created a dark, sizzling paranormal series, and The Plus Once Chronicles, an emotionally sensual adult contemporary series. Jen’s won numerous awards and had her books translated into multiple languages, but she still hasn’t come up with a way to persuade her husband that they need a dog.
