Firelight by Kristen Callihan review

This was a riveting read and was hard to put down. I really enjoyed reading Firelight. The story was a great mix of mystery, action and romance. Kristen Callihan is a great storyteller.

Miranda and Benjamin Archer are the perfect couple. Their relationship was more real and was done right. I really liked that Miranda was very relatable and likable. Miranda is a strong, independent and caring. Her character has went through some serious things in her life and Benjamin Archer saves her from that. Benjamin in the perfect gentleman. He is kind, loving and respectful. He loves Miranda and wants to protect her from danger. These were the two characters that you fall for.

My favorite part of the story is the love scene where Miranda finally shows Benjamin her ability to control fire. When she does this she finally sees what Benjamin hid from her. But she shows Benjamin that she doesn’t care because she loves him.

The fight scene between Miranda and the demon that made Archer the way he was shows that true love can conquer evil and last.

I give Firelight 5 stars and recommend this book to people who love paranormal romance and steampunk.
